Dr. Lipp Original Nipple Balm for Lips does not have the best name, but being packed with medical grade lanolin makes it a powerful moisturizer. So what's in a name, right ?
Dr. Lipp is a very thick balm. It works on lips as well as any dry areas like elbows etc. I have had luck with it on my fingers where there are some very dry patches that are hard to beat back. This has really helped. On lips it works as a balm. It has almost no scent and is sticky but absorbs fast. There's only a little sheen so aside from the name, the guys could use this too.
Lanolin generally does a great job of getting really dry skin softer. For years , until she moved, a friend in New Zealand would send me these soaps made of lanolin from there that I used all winter. They really worked .
This would be great for outdoorsy types especially I think. Skiers etc. Although ease of use on the go is harder without it being a stick style balm. Also, of course, for new moms, it does work on nipple irritation.
Dr. Lipp Nipple Balm is $ 14.50 for 15 ml tube at Sephora
