Clinique Blushwear Cream Sticks

In July Clinique will release new Blushwear Cream Sticks. I was able to get an advance preview of these. I have had ups and downs with cream sticks, but friends and the mom love them, so I needed to test run these.

The sticks go on really nice, smooth and creamy but not too much so. They are also easy to blend and have good pigment, not too much, but not barely there either.

In this warmer weather these are great for quick makeup and on the go touch ups. The 4 colors are light to medium shades that will work on most skin tones. Another plus is that these last longer than many creams. They have special ingredients to help them hold on longer, and are water resistant. I also loved the silver cases topped with an enamel like button of color. Very elegant.( the mom gives them a big thumbs up too, and took off with both my samples)

The 4 shades are :

Nude: Glow Blush
Tawny: Peachy Blush-shown first image
Pink: Rosy Blush
Violet: Shy Blush -shown second image

From Clinique :
"Clinique Blushwear Cream Stick is a modern cream-to-powder blush that blends effortlessly into cheeks to provide a natural punch of colour. This silky, oil-free formula provides buildable coverage that can be applied anytime, anywhere.

Blushwear Cream Stick is for women of all ages and skin types who desire longer-wearing cheek colour that’s a cinch to apply. Perfect for achieving a natural glow or if you desire a more noticeable flush, a few extra strokes will do the trick. This water-resistant formula is also non-drying so even the driest of skins can apply with confidence.
A synergistic combination of silicones and film formers help create the luxurious, silky texture while providing increased staying power for all day wear. In addition, Dimethicone, Sterols and Lecithin work together to help minimize dryness."
