NAILS Inc Flock You & Bright Ambition

 I'm loving these Neon brights and one hot shimmer . 

The shimmer Birds Before Boys is part of the Flock You duo. It's a pretty rose gold that flips color  and works well alone or as a topcoat. It's paired with Glamingo , a full coverage  neon pink . Pretty much Summer in a bottle. 

Bright Ambition are the individual shades and they've got some POP.  It's 12PM Somewhere is a medium purple, Strictly Bikini is an coral/orange and Not Invited is pool water blue.  I'm definitely going to rock some pedis with these pretties.

Wear time is great with these and the neons are fade resistant per the brand making them ready for wherever the season takes you.

Maybelline Super Stay Multi Use Foundation Stick

Stick foundations are having a moment it seems and I like it. I've always loved using them but for many years  they got hard to find.

With Maybelline's Summer launches come new Super Stay Multi Use Foundation Stick Stick  and this one ups the ante with a blending sponge attached to other end of the tube.

This formula here is  matte and it does feel pretty dry  on but blends easily  and has medium to almost full buildable coverage. If you're oily it will work well on it's own, anyone else will need some moisture prep underneath.

Even though this is quite matte I got a lot of oil breakthrough on my T Zone. This isn't unusual for me though and I even use a matte primer.  But what was intresting is that I didn't feel like the formula stayed matte all day.  It does have beeswax and camdellia wax, so that may be it.

Wear time was very good for the most part.  By the end of the work day it was still holding up well with just that T Zone touch up needed midday

In general I've had great success with Maybelline foundations.  I love Matte + Poreless and there was a Super Stay Silky years ago that was a staple for me in cold weather.

IT Cosmetics Superstar Flawless Foundation Brush

It's the time to flash the red , white and blue , stars and stripes and all that . It Cosmetics has their own  cute way to get in the spirit with the new Superstar Flawless Foundation Brush.

Yes this is a star shaped brush and you might think will this work ?  It does. Those points  reach into the corners and contours of your face that a rounder one may not be able to.   And it has a holographic handle.  What's not to love ?

The bristles are dense, but still uber soft as all IT brushes are  ( I am the only one who wants to pet the display as I walk by it in Ulta ?) . The clear part of the handle is just shy of 4 inches long.

L'Oreal Paradise Enchanted Powder Blush

L'Oreal has LOTS of new Summer releases and if you're after a nice pop of color they've got you covered. I talked about the new Infallible Longwear Shaping Stick Blushes last week , now it's time for a peek at the Paradise Enchanted Powder Blush.

These  creamy both on skin and to the touch and apply/blend easily. Ingredients include coconut oil,  mango and cocoa seed butter, peach kernal oil. So these add some moisture to the cheek area too.   They have good medium to full bright pigments with both matte and shimmer formulas. The ones  I have are shimmers. Bashful (  a nude peach) and Fantastical ( a deep coral). The compact is a nice size too, you get a lot of blush in the pan and there is a mirror underneath.

One of the interesting parts of the new blushes is that they are fragranced. It's a new trend in beauty , one that I'm not sure if I like or not.  These have fruit punch fragrance that is pretty strong. Is the scented part  cute /fun or gimmicky ? But I'm leaning towards fun and unless you have fragrance sensitive issues it doesn't hurt anything.

Jo Loves Fragrance Grafitti Body Spray

Jo Loves from Jo Malone is doing something a little different with their new line Fragrance Grafitti.

The fragrances come in a fun spray paint aerosol type bottle complete with a ball bearing in it that rattles when you shake it. (They are colorless, in case you were wondering)  I love the unique-ness here. It's  fun, and luxe body sprays seem to be a "thing" right now .  Most importantly , the scent is good.

Grapefruit is a masculine grapefruit. Dry, cool, not very sweet and touched by a little  green and herbs to my nose, that reminds of vetiver. It's fairly straightforward, easy to wear and unisex. The scent is light  but more than barely there and I got a few hours out if before it began to fade.  Sillage is light to medium. Not bad for a body spray. And the can makes for easy re- application over the course of the day or night .

The sprays comes in 4 scents- tuberose, grapefruit,  fig and vetiver . I really need to get the tuberose one.

Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Lip Balm

Of all the newness in Chanel's Les Beiges collection for this year, I am most anxious to try the new balms.

I love a good tinted balm, well I love many beuaty items but tinted balms truly are a favorite and when they're Chanel? Even better.

I have shade Deep, which is a medium berry tone. It has a nice ampunt og pigment, and is not totally sheer but light to medium covergae. It gives a nice, quick  muted pop of color.

The moisture level is medium. This adds a nice bit of hydration but not a lot. For cold temps it might not cut it, but is for  Summer days and nights .

As with most balms, wear time isn't very long. An hour or so on me. You can layer this over / under a lipstick too.

There are three shades in all - Light, Medium and Deep available wherever Chanel is sold.

Arm & Hammer Invisible Spray Powders

The new Invisible Spray Powders from Arm & Hammer might not be the sexiest or Insta ready new launch but they are definitely worth tucking in your beach, day or gym bag.

There are two versions- one for feet and one for body.  They best part is no white residue. They go on clean and dry fast with no cast, no stickiness and a very light fragrance.  They do however, feel cool and lightly deodorize  while absorbing moisture and sweat .  All good. They use the brand's trademarked Sweat Activated Fresh Guard technology that is meant to keep you fresh all day.

These can be sprayed anytime, anywhere and with Summer's heat here , I need that. It's a great refresh midday or late afternoon and I am going to keep the body one in the tote I drag to the office each day.

 Summer and  bronzer  go together like pie and apple  and IT Cosmetics has one that will see to most of your glow getting needs.

Bye Bye Pores Bronzer adds to their well loved Bye Bye Pores line that uses the brand's  Optical Blurring Technology.  I'm good with anything that helps reduce the look of my huge pores or adds smoothness to my face. 

The new bronzer is a medium shade that should work for most skintones. It looks fine on my pale self and blends well. It's not muddy , overly dark , orange-y or loaded with shimmer. Bliss Lemon and Sage fragrance is such a good one and now you can get it in these on the go body wipes.

 Like me, many of you I'm sure have used the hand cream , lotion and  Soapy Suds body wash with it's zippy green and citrus scent.  It's an instant perk up.  New deodorizing Body Wipes give you a quick clean and fragrant refresh  anywhere.  The gym, when you have after work drinks with friends or an evening Doctor's appointment.

Chanel Les Beiges Eyeshadow Palette - Deep

Chanel Les Beiges collection has  become a Summer staple release . It's always welcome, in my book, with it's easy to wear, skin enhancing neutrals .

There are three eyeshadow palettes this year and I have Deep .

This palette covers many of the eye color bases you 'd need in Summer and even into Fall. The selection of browns and golds is basic but pretty . For me, it's an  all in one  palette for  my fairer skin and green eyes. I can see using this a lot , especially as no brainer makeup at 7AM.

The colors make for a quick eye look, all work together well and aside from the shimmers are muted, although the shimmers are very lightly pigmented giving a wash of sparkle , not full metallic.  The deeper shades are dark but not that bold and are easily blended  down for a soft look.
