Chanel Lift Lumiere Foundation & Concealer

Chanel foundations are always among the best out there. Now there's Lift Lumiere, a lifting/firming foundation with a matching Eye Countour Concealer.

This foundation is medium-full coverage, and it makes the skin look nicely smooth. It covers imperfections well and never looks cakey. This is not a heavy foundation even though it's almost full coverage. You won't look overly "done".
We were very impressed with it here at Alchemist central.

The eye concealer is quite good as well. Very fluid , so it's easily blendable and well, who wouldn't want lifting under their eyes? The formula is medium to full coverage and it works.

Here's what Chanel tells us about the ingredients in Lift Lumiere:
" Not only does this unique formula even the skin tone as it helps deliver essential hydration, but the inclusion of firming polymers also provides skin with an impeccably smooth surface and the look and feel of an immediate ‘lift.’
Key among the de-aging ingredients: Liftoptic, an innovative optical-illusion complex composed of spherical silicone powders that deflect light away from wrinkles, and photochromatic pigments that ensure colour stays true in any light.
Enriched with a special botanical complex, Lift Lumiere helps improve skin’s firmness by protecting collagen and elastin from damaging free radicals. The luxurious formula also includes hyaluronic acid and Camellia oil . "

Lift Lumiere is $ 65.00 and available in nine shades.

Lift Lumiere Eye Contour Concealer is $ 45.00 and in three shades.

I have this, but there is still something missing for me. Once again, it falls short when compared on half the face to the one they discontinued: Teint Lift Eclat Essential Firming Makeup SPF 9
Color Diaphane Light Ivory Intensity 1.

There is something radiant lacking. I'm still using minute amounts of this in order to preserve it in hopes of finding something similar.

I bought .5 in the new one, but it is a tad darker and a tad yellower than the old (nix the yellow at least for some of us!)

Hi, never tried the one you mention.
I do hate when any brand discontinues loved/good products. I have had a few Chanel favs go that way.

Maybe a custom foundation could be made close to yours?

Good luck and thanks for reading.

This foundation is fabulous. I've always been a Chanel junkie but this makeup is above and beyond anything I've tried from them in the past. It goes on smooth, doesn't feel cakey and conceals imperfections. Definately worth the money. Tip: apply it with the Chanel Le Petit Pinceau #8 brush.

how do the shades run? i dont have a chanel counter nearby and the color range seems kind of strange. i have fairish skin but tons of faded freckles and ruddy-ish skin, sorry to say.
