Make Up For Ever HD Powder

One of the best things I saw at the Makeup Show was the new HD Powder from Make Up For Ever. This is the most amazing powder I have ever felt, and I am a total powder nut.
Just released , it is being used on TV for shooting in Hi Def. It is the softest feeling powder. It feels like silk in your hands. The one colorless shade is usable on all skintones. It blends beautifully and gives an airbrushed finish, and never cakes.

Longtime makeup artist Kevin Bennett was on hand to demo this. He just joined the company after being the makeup artist on Law and Order for 3 years. Along with the new HD Foundation, the TV show is now using this instead of airbrushing, which thus far has been the HD TV shooting standard. This is the first foundation and powder to do the job of airbrushing. Sounds good right ??

As Bennet said, if it works that well for people on TV, imagine what it can do for those of us non TV folks.

The powder has spherical 100 % mineral silica powder. It refects and diffuses light.

The HD foundation is full coverage and oil free, and it also has micro silica beads. One thing Bennett insisted on was the company adding more color ranges. The foundation will be available for the lightest to darkest skintones.

A matching primer is on it's way as well, to complete the HD look.

The powder is now available at Sephora for 30.00

The foundation debuts there in August at $ 40.00( but I hear the NY store might have it in, and the UK website has it)

The primer is also in August and is $ 32.00( it comes in seven shades and correctors.)
