LORAC Breakthrough Performance Foundation

Having had a sample for some time, I decided to finally give LORAC’s Breakthrough Performance foundation a good try. I had tested it in warmer weather and it wasn't matte enough for my oily skin. Now that it's colder I thought it might work better. My skin is still oily right now, but not nearly what it was in fall.

The foundation is an anti-aging one that has a radiance to it on the skin. In other words my skin looked bright almost as if I had already used a highlighter mixed in with my foundation. It was very pretty. The foundation looked much better now in the cool months and for drier skins it would really be lovely. The coverage is medium, and it does cover well, but some concealer was still needed on a spot or two. Nothing major. The formula is thin, so one thing I have noticed is that it takes a few minutes to "set" on your skin. I don't like how it looks right off, but if I wait a few minutes , go do something, when I come back - much better. My skin looks really good and vibrant. I like that. For winter I think I will be using this more often.

The foundation has a host of great ingredients for your skin and better yet few bad ones. There are no parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, petro-chemicals, or phthalates

According to LORAC's website:

"Oil-Free Anti-Aging Foundation with SMS Complex and SPF14 combines pre-aging, anti-aging, hydrating, and smoothing ingredients along with antioxidants to help skin appear youthful, rejuvenated, and radiant. "

$ 38.00 for 1 oz.
