Chanel Destination Illusion D'Ombre from Blue Illusion

I've been a big fan of Chanel's Illusion D'Ombre eyeshadows. The big selling point for me was that they are long lasting. It helps too that they are creamy, nicely pigmented and have a  nice shimmer . They look great on their own but also make a great base.

With the new Blue Illusion collection there are 2 new blue Illusion D'Ombres.  Blue shadow, especially the richer, darker shades was a huge fall makeup trend.

Destination is  the lighter of the two. It's a  beautiful pale, slightly slate blue. It has a lot of frost, so this one is for the shine lovers out there.  While I don't wear blue shadow much I have to say this is really pretty .  The other shade which I haven't seen yet, Apparation,  is a deeper, navy one and the two would certainly go nicely together.

It's a more summery shade but there is still plenty of warm weather and if you might be taking a tropical trip, these easy to use shadows will look good.
