L'Occitane Arlésienne

Earlier this week I previewed L'Occitane's holiday  hand cream gift sets. One mentioned came in  a scent called Arlésienne . That's the brand's newest fragrance , hitting stores in time for the holiday season, inspired by the town and area of Arles , France.

Arlésienne is  a rose based fragrance,  the kind L'Occitane does so well. But it's not simply rose.  Violet, an excellent companion to rose is in there as well along with a sprig of lily of the valley.  There is a peppery bite at the beginning courtesy of saffron .  The base notes of  tonka and sandalwood don't come along into well into the drydown, but once they do they give  a touch of soft woods that makes it a  fragrance perfect for the Winter months.

Arlésienne  comes in a full complement of products from EDT to Solid Fragrance to Velvet Hand Cream.  Shown are Body Oil , which is a lightweight , fabulous smelling spray oil  along with Shower Cream and the EDT.

Arlésienne  EDT 2.5 oz is $ 50
Arlésienne  Shower Cream is $ 20
Arlésienne  Body Oil is $ 36

All are available now at  L'Occitane online and in stores.
