Kenzo Eau de Fleur de Plum

Kenzo has a new fragrance in the Eaux de Fleurs line , Eau de Fleur de Plum .

This is a very soft, light scent. Not quite a skinscent as it does end up with nice sillage , but close. The scent is meant to be reminiscent of plum blossoms .

At first spritz is has an oddly aquatic moment but that passes. It gets softer and more floral and then the plum notes comes out. The plum is not overly pronounced but gives it a little fruit scent. As it dries down it gets a powderiness and a feather light almond note.

Created in colloboration with one of my all time favorite perfumers, Francis Kurkdjian ,this take times to really come to it's full drydown scent. A good half hour or more later, I had a nice, light floral scent with that hint of plum . One that lasted well and was very different from the beginning or even middle stages. The ending scent is quite nice.

Eau de Fleur de Plum is avaliable exclusively at http://www.kenzousa.com/and sells for $ 55.00 for 1.7 oz

Kenzoki Chilly Foaming Cleanser

In summer I began using the Kenzoki by Kenzo Chilly Foaming cleanser. It had been on my radar awhile but can only be ordered online, so it took some time for me to actually get one. The cleanser is part of the Energizing/Bamboo Leaf line tailored towards normal to oily skin .

It has now become a favorite. It really gets the oil off . In summer I am massive oily, but even with fall here, it's much the same. Using this, skin is very clean but I never feel dry or stripped after using it. It also has a nice, fresh scent thats a bit herbal tea like.

The cleanser is a gel and you don't need a lot . It lathers up only a little despite being called "foaming" , but gets the job done.

The whole Kenzoki line is intriguing , using many plant extracts and having aromatherapeutic qualities. I have also tried and liked the Nightwatcher Detoxifying Serum, a nice nightime treatment for oily skin . It's light but adds a bit of moisture and like the cleanser, is a gel .

Cleanser -$ 28.00 for 5.1 oz
Nightwatcher $ 60.00 for 1.7 oz

You can shop online in US at http://www.kenzousa.com/ Worldwide site http://www.kenzoki.com/

KenzoAmour Eau de Toilette Florale

KenzoAmour has been a huge selling fragrance for years . Now Kenzo has released KenzoAmour Eau de Toilette Florale .

The Florale is a white flower based scent, one that uses them very lightly and has a bit of an aquatic feel to it. The grapefruit note is present but it blends in with the flowers,so this not a fruity scent. The Musk note is very much there in the drydown.

It's not strong but not light either. Medium in sillage and strength I'd say. The bottle is the traditonal KenzoAmour one but done in clear and in gradient whites . It's beautful, a work of art in itself designed by artist Karim Rashid.

Note list:

Top:Neroli, Grapefruit-Blackcurrant, Cardamom
Middle-Frangipani Blossom, Rosebud, Gardenia
Bottom:White Musk, Cedar Wood

KenzoAmour Eau de Toilette Florale is in stores now and also at http://www.kenzousa.com/

1.4 oz is $ 55.00
2.9 oz is $ 75.00
