Karity Nude and Rudes Eyeshadow Palette

Have you heard of Karity Beauty yet ? It was new to me but so worth checking out .

The brand was founded by Isaac Rami as an antidote to how expensive most makeup was.  He felt it could be done as well, at a better price and Karity was born. They also, and I truly love this part,  created  Palettes For Paws and partner with local SPCA's. For every palette sold, Karity donates a meal to animal in need. Their makeup is also 100% cruelty free and vegan.

So what about the makeup you ask? Well, I have the Nudes and Rudes palette and it's just about become my favorite. These shadows are so creamy they apply and look/feel like a cream. Smooth, easily blended with deep pigment that lasts well. Oh and even the shimmeriest shade has almost no fallout.

Nudes and Rudes has so many great colors, it is not one of those palettes where most of the shades won't get used. These are all ones to wear. Some are shimmer, some are metal, some are matte, all are gorgeous. The quality here is high end all the way.

If you don't like any of the pre-done palettes, you can grab an empty magnetic one and buy individual shadows  (only $4 each) to fill as you wish.

There are also contour and lip palettes as well as very nice quality brushes incredibly priced. Some are only $4.

Karity is online based and shipping is also well priced. Free over $ 35, only $ 3.50 otherwise.  hey will ship Internationally  too.

Karity 15 Nudes and Rudes Palette is $ 25 .

Chanel Ombre Premiere Cream Eyeshadow

Chanel's Ombre Premiere Cream Eyeshadow is a revamp of their  Illusion D'Or shadows and newly released as part of a large collection devoted to eyes along with Ombre Premiere  Long Wear Powder Eyeshadows.

The new formula is very close to the old but less shimmery than the old and with  a slightly different feel in the pot, a little firmer than before.

Illusion D'Or was an all time favorite of mine that I wore a lot for their long wear and ease of use.  These are no different.  I need long wear in my  shadow, and for me that's not easy to get.

These all go on like a dream and blend with a finger, brush or the included sponge ( it used to be a brush in the old version. Too small to use I always thought, the sponge is better). The pigment is medium to full  and buildable.

Three of  the new shades are :  Noire Petrole,  Poupre Profund and Scintillance, which has the most shimmer  and is a great highlight shade.  Poupre Profond is purple brown, not easy to describe and it looks different in the pot and swatched.

All  are available now at Chanel.

Chanel Ombre Premiere Cream Eyeshadow  are $ 36

MAC Dazzle Eyeshadow- Le Disko

Serious shimmer and shine fans will want to check out MAC's new Dazzle eye shadow.

Part of the Le Disko line, these pack a glitter pop. They are a soft shadow that blends well but they do leave glitter fallout here and there although not as bad as you might think.

I have two shades and the deep gold one,  I Like To Watch, seems to be far more sparkly than  Say It Isn't So, a grey that has pink sparkle . I love me some shine so I like these . They seem to brighten the eye and define it nicely. I guess because you can't miss that sparkle.  They give an instant "look".

The pigment is good ,  but can sheer out.  My oily eyelids wreak havoc with them ( as they do with most shadows in Summer) but those with drier eyes might do better . They definitely benefit from a primer.

The shadow is fragile and MAC adds a warning paper in the box to note this.

MAC Dazzle Eyeshadow is $ 20, available now and  LE.

MAC Keepsakes Plum Eyes Holiday 2014 Eye Palette

There are three new  eye palettes in the MAC Holiday collection. All come in a glittery sparkling compact with  cameo detail  and pearl beading at the edges. I think it's so pretty and with the decorative boxes, these  are easy ribbon , tag and go gifts.

Plum Eyes  is all about the plums and greys. You get eight shadows to mix and match and I've been having fun with this the past few days. I love plum shadows but I don't have a lot of them, oddly,  so this will be a good addition to my stash.

The pigment on most shadows is very good but the lighter shades take a bit more  work  to get full color. The deeper shades have plenty of color payoff with little fallout. In my swatch the lighter  highlight shades got cut off, but they are so light , they really didn't show up well with the flash .

The full shade list:

Sensibility -pale frosty pink (frost)
Plum Grande -dirty frosty lavender (veluxe pearl)
Taupeless -icy pink with silver sparkle (lustre)
Magic Moor-rich blackened plum with pearl (veluxe pearl)
Subtly Elegant- light grey lilac (matte)
Fashion Beat- dirty violet grey (lustre)
Nocturnelle -pinked-up chrome purple (frost)
Shadowy Lady- blackened plum (matte)

MAC Keepsakes  Plum Eyes Palette is $ 39.50

MAC Holiday is online Oct. 15 and  in stores Oct. 23
