MAC Petal Power Blush- A Fantasy Of Flowers

Petal Power from MAC's A Fantasy of Flowers is one hot blush shade. It's seriously pretty and had me swooning. Of course I've been on  major blush kick lately.

A Mineralize blush , which happens to usually not be my favorite formula, this shade makes you glow. It's a mix of coral , pink and gold with the coral taking center stage on my cheeks when I use it. It comes off light coral-ly red and is buildable. I worried that  it would apply deep but that's not the case . One swipe looks great and two was fine as well and that's on my paler skin. It applies smooth and shimmery for a  cheeky pop of color.

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Intense Hydration and Masque

With winter in full bore and plenty of it to go, those with the driest skin might want to check out the newest super hydrators from Kiehl's , additions to their Ultra Facial collection. 

New are :    Ultra Facial Intense Hydration  and Ultra Facial Overnight Hydrating Masque. 

According to Kiehl's , Ultra Facial Intense Hydration ( $ 26.50) is a light , weightless formula that  provides 24 hr hydration and is fragrance and paraben free. Ingredients include enriched hyaluronic acid, glycerin and apricot kernal oil. 

Overnight Hydrating Masque ( $ 35) is meant to replenish skin's water reserves boosting moisture and uses desert plant extracts to reinforce the skin barrier. Use is once weekly and left on for 10 minutes. You  rub off most of it after the 10 minutes but some can be left on while resting.

Clinique Super Defense Age Defense Eye Cream SPF 20

One of the best things about this new eye cream is right there in the name - SPF 20. Yes, an eye cream with SPF. Physical SPF.  Earlier this year I compared finding eye cream with SPF to finding a unicorn in the wild , it's that unusual. Thankfully brands seem to be noticing .

It's still not a loaded category but I'll gladly take this  new one from Clinique. With Super Defense Age Defense you  get creamy moisture from shea and murumuru butters that manages to not be too heavy for day wear, caffeine, algae extract and repairing enzymes and extracts for anti-aging help.

Titanium dioxide 5.6% and zinc oxide 3.8% make up the SPF.

The cream has an almost undetectable tint to help brighten eyes and sinks in quickly with a lightweight feel.  It's a keeper for daytime eye care.

Chanel Diapason Illusion D'Ombre Eye Shadow- Spring 2014

I think most of us love a good purple shadow, don't we ? Diapason is a new Illusion D'Ombre that came out with Chanel Spring .

In general I like the Illusion D'Ombres. I'm a cream shadow fan and these wear pretty well always a plus for me.

Diapason is a deep purple that goes on a little lighter and when applied in certain light has a tint of brown . It's a bit of an unusual color  and very different from Holiday's Fatal .
