Clinique's Even Better liquid makeup is a wintertime favorite. The brightening, dewy finish works well in the cooler weather when my skin is less oily. I've used it a lot the past 2 years.
New is a matching compact. I love compact makeups in general, they have more ease of use, to me at least, and usually give a good finish.
Even Better Compact has medium coverage , about the same as the liquid. It's less dewy and more satin but still not the best for oilier skins. It's not heavy but creamy enough that it was more than my skin needed just now. In winter it will be a better fit for me. I found it covered well and smoothed skin nicely .

There is a range of 20 shades in the line and in the compact they look a bit darker than they will on skin, so definitely swatch at the counter if you can. The shade names correspond with the Even Better Liquid, so if you have a Clinique shade already you should be able to pick easily.
