New for Fall from NARS are Velvet Shadow Sticks. These have a new formula and a more streamlined design according to the brand.
I have two of the new shades . Oaxaca described as quartz , is a medium golden taupe and Sukhothai, a deep flashing green. Both have deep pigment and glide on easily. They are creamy but not greasy , have a slightly dry finish and can easily be smudged.
Even those these are said to be long wear , on me I had my doubts , but so far they've done well, unusual for my oily eyelids .
The ease of use is always attractive with pencils/crayons like this, just swipe and go. Oaxaca makes an quick basic but not boring eye and Sukhothai makes a quick smoky look . You can as liner or all over .
NARS Velvet Shadow Sticks come in eight shades, both mattes and shimmers , and will be available with the Fall collection hitting NARS on July 15th, Sephora and department stores August 1.
