butterLONDON's new cosmetic line is officially out as of August 1st .
The three products I've had a chance to test are pretty, high quality
cosmetics.
Lippy Tinted Balm ( shown in Toasted Marshmallow) is far more pigmented than many tinted balms. It has medium pigment , with good coverage and a ton of moisture. Mango seed butter, shea butter, babassu oil, grape seed oil, apricot kernal oil and avoacado oil and butter are all in the ingredients. It makes for a creamy but not slick feel on lips. Perfect anytime but when the weather turns cold and you want color but also hydration against chapping , this is a good choice. $ 20
Cheeky Cream Blush (shown in Honey Pie) is a light but not sheer formula that's buildable. It's creamy but goes on to a satin finish and dries fast so no stickiness and no shine. $ 20
Wink Eye Pencil ( Shown in Brown Sugar) is one of the nicest feeling eye pencils I've used and you know, I've tried a few. It just glides with a creamy gel like formula but feels light. butterLONDON cautions that it sets in 20 seconds for 24 HR wear. The glide makes it easy to use and I did get all day wear. Not 24HR but nothing will last that long on me, all day is enough to hope for and this did. Pigment is very deep. $ 18
The full line of butterLONDON is available at Ulta and www.butterlondon.com
There are new colored mascaras and eyeshadows that look good as well.
