Maui Moisture Thickend & Restore Bamboo Fibers Haircare

Maui Moisture Bamboo Fibers is a  strengthening, moisturizing and thickening duo for stressed hair, brittle hair.

While my hair doesn't quite fall into that category , it does have some  pretty dry areas mid -ends and ends , and using this for the past few weeks has made a difference.  I've noticed a definite change for the better in my drier areas, needing less leave- in after washing. I've been able to use about the half the oil I used to spray on than before and hair is better conditioned.

The shampoo and conditioner are sulfate free and have aloe juice as the first ingredient along with neem  oil and coconut water. They deliver a nice dose of moisture  but nothing heavy or over done and it does add some thickness and volume to hair. If your hair is super dry you might need a little more moisture but anybody with normal to dry hair should find this works really well, especially if they have thinner or flat hair that needs a little boost.  The Mom who has thin, fragile  hair and always needs volume  boosting  thought that it worked really well.  It's not easy to get her to try something new  but this passed her tests.

Bamboo is known to be strengthening and strong I can attest to this from the bamboo plants that came with the house and that we simply cannot get rid of no matter what . If even a portion of that strength gets applied to your hair that's a good thing

Maui Moisture is  approx. 8.99 each and available at all mass market outlets.

Organix Quenching Coconut Curls Haircare

I have a new friend who has been complaining about her dry , curly hair since the day I met her last year. She battles it but  didn't seem to be using any of the right products. She used very little product in fact, which was part of the problem. Her hair is short , dry and has curl but not ringlet curls. It's also colored and she never uses heat tools.

So when the Organix Quenching Coconut Curls line landed on my desk, she was the first person  I thought of and I gave it to her to be my tester .

She's been using it for about 2 weeks now with great results. Right off her hair was softer and not only felt it but looked it.  Now her style is looking even better with the extra dry, longer side pieces  looking better than ever and there's a little volume too.

The full line features a hair butter deep conditioner as well as a moisturizing mousse , so you can get some styling help as well as moisture.

I've had great luck with the brand's Proganix line and if you have curls this might be worth trying as it's well priced, works and there's often a BOGO. Oh and it smells pretty great too .

Proganix BOGO Free @ CVS

Proganix has quickly become one of my fab haircare lines .Their Quench duo is one I use often and it really moisturizes my hair  but doesn't weigh it down. If you're hair is  dry , it's a great choice.

For color treated hair there's Anti-Fade which helps keep color true longer while also adding moisture.

This week at CVS the line is buy one get one free .

Proganix Quench Haircare

Quench is the appropriate word for this Proganix collection.  For dry , parched hair it's a big help.

The Proganix Quench line uses coconut water , coconut oil , aloe vera and electrolytes to super hydrate and add condition to hair . There is a shampoo/conditioner combo along with two leave ins.

Using the shamp/cond left my hair very soft , very moisturized but still with plenty of body. My hair is normal to slightly dry in some areas so using both along with the leave in was more than I needed in the long run.  I like to use a repairing shampoo along with a heavy conditioner , so  the conditioner goes into the routine .  I liked the leave in as well but will have to see how it goes minus the shampoo.

There are two leave in conditioners, a spray and a cream in a pump. The pump version being the stronger of the two.

For the price point and as someone who leans towards higher end haircare, Proganix Quench performed well and is a great way to get hair into shape without breaking the budget. It's more than many mass market brands but less than salon.

Proganix Quench is at Ulta , Target , Walgreens and more.

Shampoo and Conditioner are $ 9.99 each
Leave In Conditioners are $ 11.99
