Matte Fx by Cover Fx

It's hot, and that means oily skin shines. A lot if you're me. Blot powder, matte powders, you name it, I need it.

Cover Fx has one called Matte Fx that really gets the job done. It comes in shades and not simply translucent. I have light and it's virtually indectable color wise. It blends right in.

This mattes instantly and can be used anytime. It has no fragrance and can be used with the puff it comes with or a brush.

Used with my beloved Clear Prep Fx primer from Cover Fx ,it goes a long way to helping my skin tame the oily look. A compact of Matte Fx is almost always in my bag.

Bobbi Brown Lip Treatment Shine SPF

Want a high pigment lipstick for summer with SPF? Bobbi Brown has one for you. Her new Lip Treatment Shine hits all the buttons.

Very creamy and loaded with moisture from Cocoa and Shea Butters, Jojoba, Apricot Kernel and Avocado oils, it also has peptides and Vitamin C . These have true full lipstick pigment. They have a shine finish but no shimmer . SPF 15 is in there so you can wear these on the sunniest days.

The creaminess does mean they don't last as long as a drier lipstick though. I like using a primer underneath for extra staying power.

There are 12 new shades. Shown in my photo are Desert Rose and Rosy Nude .

On counter and online now at $ 22.00

Hawaiian Tropic New Sheer Touch Crème Lotion

This past weekend was the kind that gets you reaching for the heavy duty SPF. Many people were already flocking to the NJ beaches.

To help with the SPF are 2 new sunscreens from Hawaiian Tropic called Sheer Touch Crème Lotions. Hawaiian Tropic is a favorite here because of the amazing scent their products always have and the moisture most of their line is packed with .

Crème Lotion comes in SPF 50 and SPF 10. These have that delicious tropical beachy scent but it's not as strong as some past lotions. It doesn't linger as long, which might be good for every day use. ( Personally in the past I have let their sunscreen be my scent of the day). The Crème itself is thick and yes, highly moisturizing , but it's not heavy or greasy. You can feel it on but only lightly.

It is very water resistant, and has the company's new SunSure formula, with broad spectrum UVA/ UVB and antioxidants.

Available now at all mass market outlets.
