The Balm's new Balm to benefit Pug Rescue

The Balm has come out with The Balm to the Rescue, a new, LE lip balm with all proceeds going to Pug Rescue. Now I love lip balms, and I love animal rescues. Good on the Balm for doing this. It's wonderful to buy something you love and help a good cause. It's also not too often we see animal welfare causes as the beneficiary.

For those who aren't familar with them, rescues can be all breed or more likely, breed specific. They are run by usually a small and super dedicated group of people who rescue dogs from all manner of situations: Abusive, abandoned, or just unwanted. These are pure bred dogs of all ages. So many people have said to me they can't get a pure bred unless they buy it. Wrong. Shelters get them all the time as do rescues. If you are looking for a new doggie, please check out http://www.petfinder.org/, you can search shelters and rescues all over.
Thats my rescued girl in the picture. She was saved from an abusive puppy mill.

The Balm to the Rescue sells at http://www.sephora.com/ for $14.00 and has jojoba and shea butter as well as dissolving exfoliating micro crystals, and is 100 % vegan.

Also at http://www.thebalm.com/, with a cute video of the Balm Pug mascots.
