Retro LUSH

LUSH is bringing back many "old" goodies. I think the Pineapple Grunt soap is a must have here, and maybe the Slammer Shower gel. If it's citrus , I'll take it.
They are also having a 1930's themed party at their stores this coming weekend. I love it, and wish I could be at one. I could wear one of my vintage hats for the occasion.

Here are all the details:
Celebrate the return of your favorite discontinued LUSH products with Retro LUSH! Get in on the action with the Retro Gift Box ($49.95), a limited edition gift created especially for the occasion. The gift includes 5 of LUSH’s vintage treats including Uluru Bath Bomb, Bon Bomb Bath Bomb, Pineapple Grunt Soap, Red Rooster Soap, Slammer Shower Gel and Freeze Shower Gel.

Retro LUSH, the brainchild of Jack Constantine (son of founder Mark Constantine), offers customers (both new and old) the opportunity to get their hands on their favorite discontinued LUSH goodies. Beginning on June 30th, 2008, seventy cult favorites (Freeze shower gel, Potion lotion, Banana Moon soap, and Ginger perfume to name a few) will be available online at http://www.lush.com/ in the Retro section. A selection of these coveted items will also be available in stores nationwide.

In celebration of the launch of LUSH’s Retro innovation, a special movie called “LUSH Town” has been added online. “LUSH Town” is a film noir that takes the viewer through a 1930’s mystery, where the main character Honey Waffles hires a private eye to find her missing guy, Gentil Lentil. Throughout the film there are references to LUSH products (both retro and current) and if the viewer can identify a certain number of those goodies, they win a special gift that can be collected at their local LUSH shop (while supplies last). There is more information about the movie and contest available at http://www.lushtown.com/.

In true LUSH fashion, the fun doesn’t end there. The weekend of July 5th & 6th, LUSH stores internationally will host a 1930’s themed soiree, complete with giveaways, cocktail hour, the unveiling of LUSH’s Retro Mystery Box, and a chance to win a “Soap City” valued at $200.
