The Infiniti Pro by Conair® 3Q

Today's post is brought to you by Beautystat. They've got a great look at the new Conair Infiniti Pro 3Q Hair Dryer.  I've been eyeing this dryer myself. It looks good and would make a great gift this Christmas.

We've got something to share with you. It’s the next best thing in the haircare industry from Conair (pretty much the masters when it comes to creating haircare tools, right?). Introducing the Infiniti Pro by Conair® 3Q™, the next evolution of hair dryer technology. What does the 3 Qs stand for? Well, those 3 Qs make up the key qualities found in this new hair dryer that sets it apart from the rest.

Its brushless motor technology provides Quick airflow to reduce drying time by up to 70%*; a patent pending noise reduction technology makes it 40% more Quiet using the patent pending noise reduction technology***; magnets and electronics power the motor, which extends the life of the dryer by up to 10X — equivalent to up to 5,000 hours of life!**** Talk about Quality.

Infiniti Pro by Conair Curl Secret

No doubt you've seen the ads for, or  checked out in store the new Infiniti Pro by Conair Curl Secret.

I've had great luck with the Conair Infiniti line. I use  my Pro Air Spin Brush almost every time I wash my hair and my favorite curling iron is a 1 1/4 inch Infiniti Pro.

The Curl Secret and I didn't get along as well. I think it's one  neat idea  though and while it wasn't quite for me,  that doesn't mean it may not be for you.

I have very, very thick hair and need heat and time to curl it. The Curl Secret has a timer and the longest setting is 12 seconds. Great for not burning your hair, but in my case it just wasn't long enough to get a good curl. I got more like a wave. If I went over it twice I got a better curl, but that's just too much work.

On thinner hair I think it should work far better. Those timer settings and auto shutoff are good features overall .

There was no tangling which I worried about and I think anyone who looked at it did. If you follow the directions, keeping the correct chamber side Conair tells you to ( it has an arrow) facing your hair at all times , it works . No pulling. When hair did get a little messed up in the curler, it just spit it out or adjusted so it didn't tangle.

To get started just turn it on and wait for the warm up beep. Then it's ready. Use small 1 inch sections of hair , feed it in and close the chamber. 12 secs later it stops and that's it. Onto the next section.

Infiniti Pro by Conair Curl Secret is  $99  and available wherever Conair is sold.

John Frieda by Conair Salon Shine Dryer

Don't you love a new hair dryer ? Not the sexiest beauty item but usually a much needed one and we ask a lot of our dryers .

The new John Frieda by Conair Salon Shine Dryer tries to answer the call. It's a smaller size dryer, they call it sized for travel but it's not travel size per se. It's smaller than many but not little . It's also pretty powerful and gets hair dry fast.

That fast drying is thanks to 1875 watts , a high torque DC motor , an ionic generator and a ceramic titanium coated  grill.  All this adds up to less frizz and more shine.

There are three heat setting and two speed ones along with a cool shot.

I happen to also love the metallic lavender color. It seems all my hair dryers are red. Nothing against red  but this is sharp too. It's also not heavy to hold, another bonus when drying.

Retail is 39.99 and you can find John Frieda by Conair including a new Hot Air Brush  wherever Conair is sold, Target etc.

Conair Infiniti Pro Spin Air Brush

I can't simply say  I love this and no more, but I do , love it that is.  I am sure many of you, like me, had been looking at this and thinking , do I need it ? Will it work ?  Need, well , need is a relative term, but I can say it works fabulously.

It's a brush obviously, and one that spins but... it doesn't have to spin. You can spin backwards and forwards or simply blow hot air through the bristles to dry. I use the spin  after partly drying my hair. My hair is thick so it needs drying first ( with my beloved Conair Infiniti Pro dryer). Then I finish with  the Spin Air Brush. It gives loads of volume like a pro blowout, straightens ends and lifts roots . It's very all in one and we like that. It's also super easy to use.

The heat is good there are 3 settings but not flat iron intense , and the bristles are easy on the hair. The spin is fast and it grabs hair but I  haven't had any tangling.

As you can  hopefully see from the top picture this is big. It weighs more than I expected and is far larger. The body is over 12 inches long and the brush is 2 inches. It comes with a cover for the bristles  for storing as well.

So if you've been thinking about trying this, go for it. I don't think you'll be disappointed .

Infiniti Pro by Conair 1875-Watt Salon-Performance AC Motor Styling Tool

As I recently said to someone, my hair dryer is older than dirt. About 3 years I think.  I have pretty easy hair so I've never devoted much money to hair dryer purchases. They needed to be inexpensive but  still strong with 1875 watts. My old one is  a basic 1875W Conair that has served me well.  So I have never experimented with Ionic dryers, T3s etc.  So when the chance to try a new dryer , also by Conair-the Infiniti Pro by Conair 1875-Watt Salon-Performance AC Motor Styling Tool- I  was excited . New territory to explore.

And hello, now I know what I've been missing. This dryer is super fast and powerful. Like blow your hair back  powerful.  Confession- I hate drying my hair . It doesn't take me long  but this cut  more than 5 minutes off the drying time, possibly close to 10.  That alone sold me.

It also doesn't get too hot on the hottest setting, has removable lint trap as well as ionic technology. Combined with the fast drying time, it's win.

So what makes this dryer special?  It has a AC motor instead of DC. Now I didn't know my AC ( alternating current ) from my DC but not only does Conair explain it some, but I did  the best thing- I asked  the Dad. He agrees it's a much  better way to  go but that's all of the explanation I currently remember.

 From Conair:

"The Infiniti Pro utilizes an AC (alternating current) motor, which is the high-performance motor typically designed for hair stylists and salon use."
"In addition to the AC motor benefits the Infiniti Pro dryer also generates neutralizing ions to seal the hair cuticle, reducing frizz and enhancing shine. It also features 3 heat/2 speed rocker switches for heat and airflow control along with 2 concentrator attachments to achieve a variety of styles. A removable filter prevents damaging lint buildup and further extends the motor life. "

What’s the significance of an AC motor? Here’s why “AC” = “A+”

- Quiet, yet powerful air velocity to dry hair faster and lessen heat exposure/damage

- A true blast of cold air when “Cold Shot” button is engaged, to better set your style or provide lift at the roots

- Up to a 3x longer life span as compared to typical (DC motor) hair dryers

The Conair-the Infiniti Pro by Conair 1875-Watt Salon-Performance is available at most mass market outlets like Target for approx. $ 38.99.
