Nivea Creme City Tins
Nivea's blue tins are a beauty product that can truly be called iconic. This season they're getting a very cute update.
For a limited time, there are 4 different US cities represented on the lids- Miami, Chicago, New York and San Francisco .
Each is cute and I haven't been able to pick a fav yet but I'm leaning towards Chicago because it's not a city that gets featured a lot on products , so it's a bit more unusual.
The super moisturizing Nivea Creme is the same inside making these the perfect purse/ bag or travel companion. Bonus points if you take yours to the city featured on the lid.
Nivea City Creme Tins are .99 cents and LE .

Nivea Kiss Of Smoothness Lip Butters
New lip moisturizing goodness coming your way. These new lip butters from Nivea are simply delish. Kiss of Smoothness lip butters come in 4 varieties with 3 flavors and one plain. All are super emollient and feel great on lips. Almond Oil and Shea Butter make them one of the nicest lip balms/butters I've used in awhile.
I love that they aren't heavy on lips but work incredibly well. One application will last hours and keep lips feeling good much of the day. These have no color or tint and just a tiny bit of sheen on lips.
There are 2 flavor stand outs- Vanilla & Macadamia Kiss and Raspberry Rose Kiss. The other 2 are Caramel Cream Kiss and Smooth Kiss. Before testing I expected the caramel to be my fav, but the flavor and scent wasn't very strong. On the other hand the nutty, vanilla cream Vanilla & Macadamia is , and it's my top pick here. The Raspberry Rose has a strong raspberry flavor with little rose. This one is tinted pink in the tin, but leaves no color on lips. Smooth Kiss is unscented .
Likely you you won't pick wrong with any of these tins, priced at $ 3.99 .
Each tin is .59 oz . and a little goes a long way , so you don't need a lot each time you use them.

Nivea Lip Balm Cap Design Contest Finalists
Charlotte Ronson teamed up with NIVEA Lip Care to host the first-ever “Kiss of Style” contest where people were given the opportunity to design a cap on a NIVEA lip balm.
The entries were then narrowed down by Charlotte and a team of judges to ten finalists. Charlottes' fav? The stars and stripes one.
There are some pretty nice designs and if you want to get your vote in head to NIVEA’s Facebook page to become a fan vote.
The winning design will be unveiled on Sept. 20 and next year it will go on sale.

Nivea Body Washes

I am always looking for a new body wash. Not that I don't all of many of my old favorites, but I love trying something new . I also like having a linup of gels/washes at the ready.
Having eyed the new Nivea line each time I went by it, I am now using the Touch of Happiness one. The line is actually quite large even though I've only seen 3-4 different ones in stores.
Having eyed the new Nivea line each time I went by it, I am now using the Touch of Happiness one. The line is actually quite large even though I've only seen 3-4 different ones in stores.
Touch of Happiness has one of my favorite scents- Orange Blossom. It's sweet and floral . The scent is medium strong but not overpowering. It stays with you a bit after shower too. The body wash itself is very creamy and after using you only need moisturizer on the driest areas. It lathers up nicely, smells great and feels very soft. Thumbs up.
There are 7 versions, ones incl. Shea Butter, Cream-Oil , Rose , Lime Blossom or Apricot scented and one with Diamond Powder. Honestly they all sound good.
Each bottle is 16.9 ounces and retails for approx. $5.99
This week ( 12-18th) at Rite Aid they are $4.99 and there was a $ 1 off coupon in most Sunday papers. These are definitely a good bargain and good quality.

Kim Kardashian & Nivea Fight Cellulite

Kim Kardashian has joined the Nivea cellulite challenge. Lets face it, many of us have cellulite, and anything that might help reduce it even a little, is something to take a look at . It's nice too, that Nivea isn't just saying" buy this cream", they've got a whole regimen designed to help.

Kim was recently featured on the cover of a national magazine saying that she, like millions of women, has cellulite.
Although she loves her curves, Kardashian admits, "cellulite is not cute," so she decided to do something about it.

She has enrolled in the NIVEA "Good-bye Cellulite, Hello Bikini Challenge," a four-week, holistic program that combines fitness, nutrition, style and skincare with NIVEA Good-bye Cellulite Gel-Cream and Patches to help women visibly reduce the appearance of cellulite and feel better in their swimsuits.
According to her :“After taking the four week challenge, I’ve noticed an improvement in the appearance of my cellulite. My energy is up and I feel more confident in my bikini than ever before,” Kardashian said. “It’s been a great way to re-commit myself to my fitness and nutrition goals. I’ve also really enjoyed using the gel-cream and patches. I’m very picky about my creams and this one goes on smoothly and smells great"
My personal experience with cellulite creams is that they do help , if you stick to using them routinely. Nothing totally takes it away but you can make things more toned and firmer. It's a start. I haven't yet used Nivea's, but I can say most Nivea items I have used have always been top notch.
