Viktor & Rolf Bonbon Hair Mist

A bon bon for you and your hair, Viktor &Rolf's Bonbon fragrance now comes in a hair mist.

I love a nice hair mist, although I'll admit it's not something I use a lot.  I first used one in the mid '90s and there was nothing quite as glam as Bonbon then. They are a great freshen/pick me up. Not to mention an indulgent luxury. We all need those sometimes.

Bonbon Hair Mist comes in a 1oz bottle that is pale pink rendition of the perfume's larger and  pinker size. It  has a pump spray for a fine mist of fragrance.

The fragrance itself , if you haven't tried it , is a gourmand  with caramel ,citrus and light floral notes. You can read my review here.

Viktor & Rolf Bonbon 1st Anniversary

Viktor & Rolf's lovely Bonbon fragrance is celebrating it's one year anniversary.   We don't see this one as much  as their Flowerbomb but it's a pretty scent.

Bonbon  comes in the most adorable three dimensional bow bottle . The fragrance is a delicious gourmand with some citrus in there as well.  While it's  not quite like chocolate covered orange, if you like that, you should like this.

It is a bit sweet with it's caramel note. That pairs with the citrus of mandarin , orange and peach in the beginning . The caramel stays slightly in the background a bit and then soft florals of orange blossom and jasmine come out . Guaiac wood in the drydown keep it fairly sweet and hints of amber ground it all.

In addition to the EDP there is also a  Satin Body Powder and Body Cream .

Flowerbomb La Vie En Rose- Viktor & Rolf

Flowerbomb La Vie En Rose is the new summer LE addition to the Flowerbomb line and is exclusive to Sephora.

La Vie En Rose is lighter, and yes, has a little bit of a rose note in there . Nothing strong about the rose here or the whole scent itself. The freesia note is most prominent to my nose and it has some citrus splash to it . By the drydown the original's patchouli note is there but far less. Just enough to ground the fragrance. If the original was too powerful for you, than this new version might be worth a look, or sniff.

Lasting power is medium and sillage is also medium.
