Eucerin Roughness Relief Spot

Does your skin sometimes feel like sandpaper ? After all Winter's cold  air I know my fingers and knuckles no matter how much hand cream I use are still very dry as is one elbow. The one I lean on most I guess.

Eucerin's new  Roughness Relief Spot  has urea and lactic acid to help smooth out the roughness and ceramides and sunflower oil to add moisture.

The tube ends in a pointy tip so you can squeeze out as much or little as you need for spot treating  or to cover a larger area.

As with any urea based lotions I've used this can be a little tacky feeling at first, but that goes away pretty quickly. It's definitely helped those knuckles and elbows within 2 uses and works nicely on heels of feet too.

The tube is large at 2.5 oz so it's going to last awhile  and there is also a matching lotion.

Eucerin Roughness Relief Spot  is $ 6.99

Eucerin Professional Repair & Smoothing Repair Body Lotions

One of the long trusted names in heavy duty body lotion is Eucerin. I've used Eucerin's Intensive Repair Foot Cream ( on feet and hands) for years and  like it.

Now that it's getting chillier it 's time to think moisturizing . I don't know about you, but I stockpile lotion .

Eucerin has formulas that are extra strong using  Ceramide-3,  part of skin’s own moisturizers, and Gluco-Glycerol that help to exfoliate the driest of skin and get it soft and smooth quicker along with shea butter.

New is Professional Repair and  Smoothing Repair . Professional is listed as for extremely dry skin while Smoothing is for dry.

This is an Urea/ Alpha Hydroxy/ Lactic Acid based formula which helps  the skin get softer, but do keep in mind you need to use SPF if you plan on being in the sun and that includes winter sun . Now in winter you're usually pretty covered but if you won't be or are heading on a tropical vacay,  don't use this right before.

Both Professional and Smoothing are very hydrating,  fragrance free  and sink in pretty fast.  You'll need a little  drying time but not much.

If  you got to www.eucerinus.com you can get a free sample ( while supplies last) of Professional Repair  which has earned the Good Housekeeping Seal .

Retails  vary, but are approx. $6-8 at all mass market merchants and you can shop online at Eucerin's site and Drugstore .com

Eucerin Plus Intensive Repair Line

Fall is here and that means for most of us, a start of cooler temperatures. It's not blustery yet, but that's coming.  Time to start thinking about  the body lotions we know we'll need  more of soon enough.

I wanted to give Eucerin's Plus Intensive Repair line a test because it has alpha hydroxy in there to give smoother skin as well as glycerin and urea. In winter, when skin gets really dry , I knew this could be good.  I tried they body  and foot cremes.

These both definitely smooth.  After using on upper arms, there was a very noticeable difference. ( The body creme is great for  those little bumps on the arms as well. A huge plus. I hate them.) On legs, same thing, I had extra smothness for days. The  Body Creme is thick and takes a bit to sink in but once it does, the moisture lasts . It's not too sticky and you will see ,or I should say feel ,results.

The Foot Creme isn't as thick as the body creme but still works just as well. It sinks into feet fast and has been a big help with keeping my heels smooth. Think using this under socks for best results.

As I mentioned, Intensive Repair  has an alpha hydroxy formula , and there is also glycerin and urea. The line also has a Hand Creme and Lotion.
Available at all mass market outlets.
