On the Spring runway for Karen Walker, the models wore a bold coral lip created by Clinique's Global Colour Artist Jenna Menard. That look has in turn inspired the creation of Runway Coral , a new LE Long Last Lipstick debuting in May.
Runway Coral is a satin finish , bold and pretty lipstick. I say bold since while I love and wear corals, they're often lighter , so this is a bold shade for me. It looks good on me though and I love the long wear . It's high pigment enough that it also leaves behind a nice lasting stain even after it's worn a little. I also like blending a golden shimmer gloss over it. It makes a great base for other lippies.
Runway Coral , I think, leans a little towards the red than the orange . It's coral but a red coral. It's also very much the color of Spring. Coral is everywhere and it's a total brightener.
Keep it simple on the rest of your face . Foundation or BB and mascara with either no blush or a light wash of it .
