Chanel Chance Eau Vive

Chanel Chance gets a new sibling with Eau Vive this month, created by Olivier Polge.

Eau Vive is a burst of floral citrus off the top, a bit strong at first spritz and a bit sharp and soapy but settles into something softer as it goes. Grapefruit and jasmine pop to my nose . There is a dewiness from musk as well but that gets less as the scent changes.

Vetiver and iris play a big part in the mid point to dry down along with cedar giving it a subtle touch of woods and green.  The clean soapy feel stays but is more in the background and a touch of flowers , the jasmine and  a little rose , add a floral touch to the green notes.

Eau Vive ends up pretty soft after it dries down but has good sillage and lasted well on me . Overall this a fresh floral , nice for this time of year . It won't be too much or overdone and seems to stand up to heat .

Chanel Chance Eau Vive is $ 77 for 1.7 oz and $ 97 for 3.4 oz
