Liz Earle -New Naturally Active Haircare Line

Liz Earle has added haircare to the lineup. There is one shampoo and 3 choices in conditioner.

The shampoo is Botanical Shine Shampoo. It  works for all hair types and has shea butter,  Vitamin E, Aloe Vera , apple and orange extracts and 8 essential oils in it.The formula is SLS  & SLES free.

Being for all hair types, the shampoo was  just right , and basic.  Not too moisturizing but not too light either. I have pretty much normal hair so it worked nicely. Despite all the essential oils the scent isn't too strong , just a nice orange -citrus one. My hair  was soft and not stripped feeling.

The Conditioners are Normal Hair, Oily, or Dry/Damaged.
I used Normal which was just enough conditioning but I do think that maybe I would have liked the Dry/Damaged one better even though my hair isn't. Ultimately I needed a bit more moisture but my hair didn't feel or look dry after blow drying ( and I do use a light leave in ).  The Normal has meadowfoam oil, the Dry /Damaged- Shea Butter.

The line will debut in November.

Botanical Shine Shampoo: $14.50 for 6.7 fl. oz
Botanical Shine Conditioner for Normal Hair: $14.50 for 6.7 fl. oz
Botanical Shine Conditioner for Dry or Damaged Hair: $14.50 for 6.7 fl. oz
Botanical Shine Conditioner for Oily Hair: $14.50 for 6.7 fl. oz

Liz Earle Sun Shade After Sun Gel

It's blazing hot and sunny out there in most places and even with sunscreen piled on, some gets through, and we get hot , sometimes sun parched skin.

A new option to refresh skin is Liz Earle's After Sun Gel. This gel is lightly cooling and has aloe vera and pure lavender essential oil as well as cucumber, glycerin and Vitamin E.

The gel is moisturizing but not too sticky and dries pretty quickly. It smells mainly of lavender and the scent doesn't stay too long. Perfect for after swimming, beaching or just any time you want to boost skin without heavy moisture.

It comes in a travel/trial size at 1 oz for $ 10.00 or a larger 6.7 oz for $ 25.00

Liz Earle Superskin Body Cream

Liz Earle has added some fab smelling body balm to her already strong lineup. Everyone has raved about the scent from the Superskin facial line ( admission- I liked it so much, I would use the Superskin Concentrate on my hands, they needed the love and I loved the smell). To address that, she now has Superskin Body Cream.

This very rich balm has an aromatherapy aspect with notes of neroli, lavender and chamomile wafting around you. It's a bit smoky, herby and floral.

The cream itself has loads of heavy duty moisturizers including shea butter, rosehip seed oil, cranberry seed oil, grape seed oil, avaocado oil and borage seed oil ( borage oil being the one proven ingredient to actually get below the upper layer of epidermis). It gets the job done without being greasy at all. It dries fast and leaves skin hydrated long.

All Liz Earle products use as many organic ingredients as they can, and use no animal ingredients or testing. Superskin Body Cream has 25% pure plant oils.

6.7 oz tube is $ 55.00

Liz Earle can be found at at Studio Beautymix at Fred Segal in Santa Monica, California, Brownes Apothecary & CO. in Miami, Florida and at or UK site http://www.uklizearle.com/ to order and more info ( worldwide link there as well).
