Susan Posnick Colorflo Mineral Makeup

I am still new to the mineral makeup world, and am trying out more lines. This past 2 weeks I have been using Colorflo by Susan Posnick. The biggest selling points here are the portability of the product and the high SPF of 26 that even lasts thru water.

I have to tell you that I do not use sunscreen all over every day. I put some on the non- oily areas but then rely on my makeup, which isn't the best thing as we've all been told. So the idea of using a foundation with solid built in SPF that would hold up much of the day was very appealing.
Colorflo was created by Ms. Posnick to withstand the heat of Texas, and since that's even worse then the heat of NJ, I thought this might work.

It has held up very well so far on the 80 degree days I have worn it. I had very little to no shine breakthrough which is major. During a day of long drives, appointments and dinner I did need to powder the nose only once. I like that. I also use it for instant sunscreen. theres no applying, I can just brush it on really quick and go, perfect for light makeup days or touch ups. After all it's far easier to powder over makeup than use cream.

The coverage was sheer to light medium. A little less than I normally like/use, but really fine for me. I don't need more coverage, but I like it. I did need a bit of concealer in some areas.

This is a great convenience choice for summer, and thats when I see myself using it most.

There are numerous color choices as well as a bronzer and shimmer , and through the month of May, a percentage of sales will benefit the the Skin Cancer Awareness Foundation’s Shade Across America program .

Colorflo sells for 64.00 at spas, and other retailers. A refill is also available for these at 32.00.
