DiorSkin Nude Natural Glow Foundation & Powder

I ran to Sephora last week to get samples of the new Dior mineral based foundations, DiorSkin Nude Natural Glow.

First I tried the liquid version.

Can I tell you that this may be the best foundation I've used ? I've tried and liked many foundations lately but this one is just a wow. It just looks so soft and natural yet with flawless coverage. Not overdone but perfected. I guess thats why they call it nude,it's you but better.

It is hydrating they say, but it doesn't have any heavy feel or leave my skin any oilier later in the day and lasted well.

The powder, is also pretty great. This is a very dry powder, but once you get it on and blended it also has such a soft look. You need moisturizer under this most likely unless you have very oily skin. Also it works great over the liquid foundation as a finishing powder. If you use it as makeup you do need concealer on any spots etc. On my cheeks and forehead I needed just this , on my nose and chin a bit of concealer from some leftover acne spots.

The powder feels weightless on. Since I had mine in a tiny sample pot, it was a bit harder to use. The big container it comes in will make it far easier.

Both foundations have as the chief ingredient, Mineralized Active Water. "This Mineralized Active Water contains Rhodolite a semi-precious stone that helps protect the mitochondria and produce energy in the skin cells and aid in cell turnover. Other active ingredients include Sensiline, which is derived from flax and protects against UVA rays and Sericin, which is derived from silk and regulates hydration in the skin and Vitamins C & E. "

The foundations are also said to help the skin look better and be more hydrated over time. Both are SPF 10.

Needless to say I now need both versions . I think the liquid first, then the powder for hot summer weather. It will be amazing then .

DiorSkin Nude Natural Glow Hydrating Makeup is $ 45.00 for 1 oz
DiorSkin Nude Natural Glow Fresh Powder Makeup SPF 10 is $45.00 for .28 oz

I personally love organic foundations and natural cosmetics because the thought of absorbing all of the chemicals into my skin does not interest me. The typical woman absorbs over five pounds of chemicals through her skin into her body from makeup.

It is very important to look good no matter where you are. You never know who you are going to meet and you need to make a good first impression. You never know if the person you have just met will be your future client, employer or even lover.
