Using the Instant Recovery Caviar Repairx shampoo/conditioner combo here along with Caviar Anti Aging Photo Age Defense leave in or the CC Cream really has made a difference. The drier areas were much more hydrated and hair was soft but very volumized, something I don’t really need but that’s ok. I think this formula is also thickening which can be great for thinner damaged hair. My hair needs no thickening, but I am impressed that it does that. That’s a sign of a good product. You can see it in the image that it was big hair and healthy looking. Breakage has been down so far as well as falling hair and that’s the best part. And this was all with the first use.
Instant Recovery Caviar Repairx is said to reduce breakage by up to 95% while also reducing frizz and adding softness, strength and shine. Alterna says it gets in there and actually fills in gaps or tears in hair cuticles and helps to seal the cuticle as well. The Caviar part is caviar extract which has Omega 3 fatty acids. Hydration comes from shea butter, sunflower and linseed oils.
Photo Age Defense is a light leave in of micro beads that smush into your hands . I wasn’t sure it felt heavy enough when I used it but it worked really well, better than many of my other leave ins. It pretty much does everything for hair including providing UVA/UVB protection.
These products are not inexpensive but worth it for how good they are. I don’t wash my hair everyday and if you don’t either than they’ll last longer . You don’t need loads of product either to get it done. I’ve learned over the years and from The Mom who does have damaged, fine hair, that you need to use the good stuff, if you can, to really make your hair look it’s best.
