Light strokes give the lightest color , while pressing harder gives a bolder look. I found this really easy to use and my brows looked natural but done. Filled in and more "there" but nothing over the top. Once on it lasts well ( it's waterproof) . I have makeup melt issues including on my brows so I can't say this went all day but that's me. Others will most likely have better wear time.
