INC.redible Shook To The Core Lipgloss

 INC.redible has some new Summer season ready lipgloss. Wherever your fun takes you , this lippie will give you shine and pop.

Shook to the Core is a  glitter formula but not all over glitter.  It's not full of  glitter pieces,  they're scattered throughout and I think that makes it a more wearable for those of us who are past festival age but thinks lips like this are fun.  They have semi sheer color that really wakes you up and brightens .

There is a little streaking with them when you apply, but that blends out easily. They have no scent or taste.

There are three shades-  Fairy Extreme ( fuschia),  Off the Hook ( violet blue) and  Not Your Average Bird ( hot pink with flashes of coral ). 

 The INC.redible line, founded  by Nails INC creator Thea Green makes a lot of trendy lip looks at great price points.  I reviewed their Foiling Around   metallic colors previously.

MAC Crystal Glaze Gloss- Work It Out Collection

Part of MAC's '80s vibe Work It Out collection are new Crystal Glaze glosses. It's A Great Feeling from the Kabuki collab back in January was my top pick from that collection, and now we have six new shades.

Crystal Glaze Gloss is a lightweight , moisturizing gloss that isn't sticky or tacky and imparts sheer color. These look like jelly in the pots, almost too pretty to use but  I got over that, trying three of the shades.

Oh My Lunge! is the sheerest of the three. It's a pale peachy pink that adds  a barely there tint. Nice Cheeks is a nude wash of color , adding a little warmth and tint but no overall pigment.  Love Your Body , my favorite of these, is a warm  pinkish coral . It adds slightly more tint than the others with a light coral sheen.

While these may not have a lot of color to them , I really like them. I have been using mine over matte lipcolors to add just enough shine, slip and moisture to them. They are nice on their own for a barer look or as a top coat over lipstick.

Where  Crystal Glaze Gloss really succeeds is in the moisture. These really hydrate and the effect lasts for a couple hours .

MAC Crystal Glaze Gloss - It's A Great Feeling- Kabuki Magic

I think this is the star product in the   MAC Makeup Art Cosemtics line created with three makeup artist masters.

Crystal Glaze Gloss is from Kabuki and I couldn't love this more. It looks  fabulous just in the pot all  swirly, shiny red . Then you put it on and get a sheer orange-y red color loaded with shine and a little shimmer on your lips. I love it as is, but it will make a great lipstick top coat too.

Like many glosses it doesn't last super long on but it is very moisturizing and the moisture stays along with a little color.

MAC Crystal Glaze Gloss ( it comes in one other color-Ice Follies , a sheer pearl) is LE and $ 21.

NARS Asphalt Jungle & Aragon Lipgloss

NARS Spring line, Wildfire, is heavy with  rich browns, burnt reds and bronzes . These are my colors so this whole collection has my name on it.

The two new lipglosses feel like they were made for me so if you also lean towards these shades , you'll love them . Both have medium pigment and are a comfortable not overly tacky gloss.

Asphalt Jungle could not be more perfect. It reminds of  a favorite lipshade I had years ( and years ago aka a teenager)  that I wore  all the time .  A medium bronzy brown shot through with shimmer , or Shimmering Sangria per NARS ( spot on description)  it gleams on lips.  This works now in the cold temps and come warm weather will look so good against a tan or bronzer.

Aragon is a creme  reddish chestnut brown . A '90s throwback but with more dimension. It's very wearable and will pop against our camel wool coats or black puffers. There are two eyeshadow duos in this collection  and one, the turquoise/copper Chaing Mai , is the perfect complement to this shade.

Chanel Super Nude & Super Coral Rouge Allure Gloss-Spring 2017

As I mentioned last week, Chanel Spring 2017 is on counter and online. The star product is Coco Code blush but the supporting players like these new glosses shine also.

Super Coral and Super Nude are the two new glosses  and both are, yes, super pretty and will quickly become favorites here. I love a nude and a coral lip so these are perfect.

They have good pigment and color payoff. Medium , with shine but a light shine. More liquid lipstick than gloss . They have no shimmer or pearl and feel nice on lips without being too tacky while adding  a little bit of moisture with green tea butter and a vitamin E  derivative among the ingredients.

Both shades are LE.

MAC Black Plum Friday

 This year's Black Friday one day only from MAC is a good one.

They are doing a deep purple Vamplify lip shade, Black Plum . Vamplify is one of  my favorite MAC lip formulas and this shade is gorg.

It will be sold in a kit with a matching Pro Longwear Lip Pencil in Bespoken For and Rebeleyes Gel Liner in Top/Bottom,  deep black.

Chanel Give It Shine Glossimer Gift Set

Gifts of Chanel are always a great pick and this little beauty recently turned up on Nordstrom.com.

Give It Shine is a trio of the brand's Glossimers along with a round pink pouch with a snowflake zipper pull. So very Hiver and Joyeux Noel.  The shades of lipgloss are Amour, Sweet Beige and Wild Rose. 

It's $92 and LE for Holiday. 

Essence Prettifying Lip Oil, BB Lipgloss & Long Last Lipliner

Your lips get some newness from Essence this Fall.

Prettifying Lip Oil is a super moisturizing, almost clear oil. It has the barest of tints , looking almost clear with some shine on lips but not gloss like . It has a nice light fruity scent and uses jojoba oil for moisture. Great on it's own  or over a lipstick to add a little shine and sheen.  Shown in First Help, Pinky ( 3 shades in all) $ 2.99

BB Beauty Balm Lipgloss is a slightly thicker than normal gloss with nice light to medium, non sticky coverage.  Shea butter and vitamin e add moisture . The shade I have Keep It Real is a great light nude that makes lips look a little fuller. $ 3.49 ( Available in 5 shades)

Long Lasting Lipliner is a very nice liner for the price, This is creamy with no drag and had good pigment. It fills  and lines well along with holding up well over the morning. $ 2.49 . Available in 9 shades.

MAC Star Trek- Set To Stun & Midnight

The MAC Star Trek collection is front-loaded with lots of shimmer  and metallic. I've got two of the upcoming collection here and both pack pack plenty of sparkle.

Midnight is one of the Pressed Pigments and is a rich bright, sparkly Navy . It has plenty of deep pigment and not too much fallout. 

Set To Stun is  a new  glittery greige  silver that goes on sheer and a little patchy but is still pretty and fun.  It can be worn on its own over another shade for extra sparkle or a metallic touch.

I do love and metallic lip and even though grey / silver is not the easiest for me to wear I will definitely rock this one. It's pretty wearable due to it's sheerness.

MAC In Abundance Plushglass

 
MAC's In Abundance Plushglass from Blue Nectar is an easy, go to Summer shade.

This pinky coral gives sheer color that I call tutti frutti . It's not bold but not quiet either and gives you a nice pop of color .  It's a shade that should perk up paler complexions and complement tanned ones .  Grab, swipe and go for a perfect lip, what more could we ask from a  warm weather lippie?

MAC Telegenius & The Zone Mineralize Lipglass- Future MAC

There's loads of new Mineralize in MAC's Future MAC Spring collection. For face , for eyes and for lips. Lets's start off with two of the new lipglass shades.

The Zone and Telegenius are two of the four new shades available . Both have an ethereal look , are sheer and light.

The Zone is a luminescent beige. This is no boring beige but a pretty deeper  mauve-y beige . It shows up pretty well on lips with two coats  and has just enough pearl but not big shimmer. This kind of color is in my zone and it's set to be one I wear often.

Telegenius is a light peachy pink with pearl for a slight warm glow on lips. This is barely there for a hint of color on it's own or slip it over something deeper to tone down or add some shine.

MAC Holiday 2015- Pink & Nude Irresistibly Charming Lip Gloss Sets

 
I'm fairly sure we all look forward to MAC Holiday. The sets , the gifts, the color collection. It's always a must see .

This year the palettes/sets come in  black ribbed cases with bright metallic trim. I'm not loving these boxes as much as past years, they kind of remind me of a tape case from a few decades back  and aren't very festive but what's inside is still as good as always .

MAC Vamplify LipGloss

MAC's new Vamplify bridges the gap between  lipstick and lipgloss. This highly pigmented formula  has full coverage along with shine.

Vamplify isn't quite as lipstick like as some other lip hybrids, it leans a little more gloss but it is a mix. The finish is lacquer like  and hugs your lips. In time the shine dries a little and it's less glossy. Still glossy, but less so.

The color payoff  here is big as you can see from the  swatches which are one pass from the wand.  The doe foot is tapered and a good size to get color on the lips easily.  This is a  thick, creamy gloss, with plenty of moisture but not to tacky/sticky. The tube is the same size /shape as Dare To Wear Lipgloss  from a few years back but with a different formula.

There are 17 shades and shown are Tuned In, a deep rose brown with the barest bit of shimmer  and Tease Don't Touch , a rich true red .

Jay Manuel Ultimate Lipstick & Lipgloss

Last week we talked about  Jay Manuel Beauty's top notch face products.  Now lets look at the equally impressive lip products.

There are lipsticks and lip glosses in the line ( along with a stain and pencil ) . Both have plenty of pigment in a luxe formula.

Ultimate Lipsticks have a semi matte , leaning more matte finish . Really each had a slightly different feel to it.  Spank, the pink shade was very matte while Lovebite was more satin. Both are beautiful colors with full pigment  in one application.  These are creamy and lightly moisturizing, never feeling dry on lips. Vitamin E,  mango butter and almond oil add moisture and wear time is good, about 3 hours for me with a stain left behind after.

Ultimate Lipgloss  has medium to full pigment , are not too tacky or sticky and the colors are gorgeous. These have good color payoff ( crushed gemstones are said to be in there for vibrancy)  and are hydrating and creamy on lips.  My one gripe is the silicone wand . While the description says it applies color more evenly than a doe foot, I don't agree. Then again I prefer a brush over a doe foot, but either way I find the wand here to be stiff and feel like what it is, hard plastic on lips .  ( Shown second is Charisma, I have no name stickers on the other two but I think they're Pinch and Desire )
