Personally I've been on quite an eyeliner kick. Not super dark, much as I love it, it rarely works on me, but lots of colors. Silver, grey, brown, copper, green , plum. The new MAC Pearlglides are some of my newest favs. They are fab. Deep or bright depending on which color you choose, smooth and sparkly. Plus they really last. I mentioned the new Victoria's Secret metallic ones once, and the other day posted on the new Smoked eyeliner from Estee Lauder. All of these can help you achieve a bit of the look here. In a more wearable way.
Costume National went gray to the extreme with their eyeliner and it looks a bit odd and messy, but this was on the runway.
Heres some of what was used according to Sally Branka , lead makeup artist:
Eye: “The eye makeup has a lot of structure, but it’s the deconstruction that makes it modern,” Branka said. Opaque slate gray liner rimmed the monochromatic eyes.

Face: To keep the focus on the eyes, the face was left bare using only concealer and invisible set powder.
Lip: Sally toned down lips by blending a touch of concealer into the mouth.
Pro Tip: Mix in a deep taupe or espresso when blending gray shades around the eyes. This will keep the tonal quality more as a true gray.
According to Ms. Branka-
"She's that cool girl—when she walks in the room everyone looks."

Makeup Used: MAC Scene and Gesso eyeshadows and Chromacakes liner.

Just Cavalli went the deepest black rocker girl look and I love it. I saw this picture of Eva Green at Dior, who always rocks this look and always look amazing.I don't know how she does it, but no matter what she wears , she has the deepest rimmed eyes and it works for her. Being gorgeous and French doesn't
hurt either, I guess.
For this look , grab a serious Kohl type pencil .
