The Mom as I 've mentioned in previous hair posts has thin, fine ,limp, breakage prone , color treated hair. She hits all of those bases. She's also the queen of conditioning/volumizing without weighing hair down .
So in that vein she's tried on loads of product and has some favorites that work really well. When Leonor Greyl Creme Regeneratrice landed on my desk, I knew she had to try it. And she raved and raved and wants to know how she can get more, lots more. She's currently hoarding her tube as much as she can.
Creme Regeneratrice is not a new product, it's been out since 1982 and this is the 30th anniversary .
This rich, deep conditioner can be used as a conditioner and a hair mask but it gets the job done fast. No long wait time . It's for the most unmanageble hair that needs lots of help. You apply to damp hair after washing and leave on for 5 minutes. Ingredients include seaweed extract, jojoba oil and vegetable proteins. There are no parabens, sulfates or silicone.
Basically The Mom thinks it's the best thing she's ever used on her hair. She gets volume with super soft hair without even having to go through her usual long styling process. Just blow drying with a round brush when using this gives lasting volume. And her hair looks and feels amazing.
I know Greyl makes great products. I used some all the way back in my pre-blogging days, but it's been awhile since I tried anything. Good to know the line is still at the top.
Creme Regeneratrice is $ $ 41 for 3.5 oz tube at www.leonorgreyl-usa.com , Amazon and Nordstrom.

That made me laugh a bit - glad it works, but when I hear Leonor, I think fabric conditioner...
What fabric conditioner is Leonor? You lost me there, madpiano.
It's called Lenor, but the name is so similar...
