Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion +

One beauty product that deserves the word iconic is Clinique's Dramatically Different Lotion.

The Mom started using it  around  1974 and continued for  more than 25 years.    She looks great and younger than her age so all those years of using it along with good genes certainly must have helped . She had very oily skin then but  Dramatically Different ( DDML from here on ) worked as it sank in fast for makeup prep and didn't feel greasy.

I remember as I got older, the excitement of bonus time when she would stock up and we would divvy up the bonus bag goodies, which always included a mini  DDML , perfect for trips. In those days I would use one of the minis as well if I felt I needed a little moisture .

DDML was released originally in 1968 and now in 2013 Clinique has  given it an update and added a + to the name.  No new look, the yellow , the bottle , are all the same,  but a few new ingredients that make it even more moisturizing like hyaluronic acid, glycerin and urea. It also has what Clinique calls " The Barrier Repair Complex" ,  a blend if sunflower seed cake, barley extract and cucumber fruit extract for strength, resilience and resistance to environmental stresses.

The Mom says it definitely feels a little more emollient  and still feels lovely on skin.

Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion + will be available in August.

4.2 oz bottle  w/pump or cap are  $ 26 each.
