Every year It Cosmetics does great gift sets  and this year is no exception.

I especially love the brush sets , because,well you have tried their brushes right ? So, so soft.   I have to run my hands over the display every time I go to Ulta.

The Brush Believer Super Squad set is exclusive to  Ulta  and comes with 5 full size  Heavenly Luxe  brushes and a folding vanity  tray.

In a neat feature both the brushes and  tray are magnetic so you can stand the   tray  on one side and  place the brushes there. It makes for a nice look.

I'm   not sure that I'd call the folding piece a tray but it  can be laid flat and has a zip pocket in the middle also .  It folds up pretty thin so it'll  store away  or travel  easily .

It's the time to flash the red , white and blue , stars and stripes and all that . It Cosmetics has their own  cute way to get in the spirit with the new Superstar Flawless Foundation Brush.

Yes this is a star shaped brush and you might think will this work ?  It does. Those points  reach into the corners and contours of your face that a rounder one may not be able to.   And it has a holographic handle.  What's not to love ?

The bristles are dense, but still uber soft as all IT brushes are  ( I am the only one who wants to pet the display as I walk by it in Ulta ?) . The clear part of the handle is just shy of 4 inches long.

Boots No 7 has some fabulous ( and well priced) gifts this holiday season. Last week I showed you the  Glamourous Nudes Eye Palette.  Also new is this cute brush set.

With the Forever Flawless Brush set you get 4 teal handled travel sized brushes in powder, foundation, eye shadow and angled liner along with a sequin mini zip top bag.  This is nicely packaged and the brushes are soft with good sized heads.

Chanel Ombre Premiere Long Wear Powder Eyeshadow

Chanel goes solo with the launch of Ombre Premiere  Long Wear Powder Eyeshadows . There are a multitude of shades in a single pan compact.

These new beauties are a silky, smooth formula that's  long wear with rich, deep pigment that blends easily. They do have a little fallout,  but it's minor.  They come in satins ,mattes and metallics.

I have three of the  new shades . Noir Satin is a medium deep black, Desert Rouge , a pink tinged red and Talpa, a perfect wear everyday , always looks good Taupe.  Desert Rouge is the metallic out of the trio.  I found that Noir Satin didn't go on as fully pigmented as the others and needs more building but it's also a more wearable black than a super dark one might be ( at least for me)

You can probably guess that Talpa is my favorite here. One eyeshadow  to get it done every AM when I have little time or energy to blend, mix, contour etc.

Also new are two eye brushes.  I haven't explored Chanel brushes much before and now I am wondering why?   Shown is the dual ended retractable Blender/Shader.

There's quite a range of products including a top notch pore filler/primer but first up is Anti Aging Armour Super Smart Skin Perfecting Beauty Fluid SPF 50+ and a great new brush.

The beauty fluid is just that- a lightweight fluid that does a lot. It has a very light  tint that blends right in and uses color correcting pigments to help skin look brightened  and more even toned.  It's lightly hydrating but not dewy although it has slip and also packs high physical SPF. This is great under makeup but also on it's own if you prefer almost bare skin but want protection.  Ingredients include  peptides, niacin, hydrolyzed collagen, and hyaluronic acid along with oils and extracts like Grapefruit Peel Oil,Grape Seed Oil,Avocado Oil, Olive Leaf Extract and  Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract.  

IT of course is known for their brushes. Whenever I go to Ulta I have to stop and play my hand over the brush display.  The softness and the selection are tops. 

New is the Heavenly Skin  CC+ Perfecting Brush . This lovely helps to buff in colored skincare like the fluid above, powders , CC or BB creams . I use it after my pore perfecting powder on my T Zone to help fill in my large pores even more and blend what can end up as a heavy  topping of powder. It takes a lot to help conceal my pores. I admit I was a bit unsure how much help  a brush would be but this does make a nice bit of difference.  Really, you can never have enough IT brushes.

It Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe™ You Sculpted!™ #18 Contour & Highlight Brush

It Cosmetics makes some of the most amazingly good brushes. I love going into Ulta and just running my hand over the tops of the tester displays. I love a good makeup brush and always check them out.

New is the Heavenly Luxe You Sculpted # 18 Contour and Highlight Brush. Meant to use with their also new You Sculpted Universal Contour Palette,  I love that you can buy the brush separately ( although the palette is quite nice too. )

What's different about this brush is that it doesn't have that angled cut we usually see on contour brushes. It's cut straight across  with dense , soft bristles. It's fairly flat too but works . That was my first thought, how will this shape work? It took a little getting used too but it's a great brush. One that works for contour as well as highlight as the name says.

The handle measures approx. 4 inches with the brush head coming in at 1 inch. There is also a guide included with how to's and tips on how to use.

mark Clutch Situation 5 Piece Makeup Brush Set

A glittery clutch filled with makeup brushes , what's not to love ? This cute clutch from mark. is a fancy holding spot for the brushes , guaranteeing them a place on the vanity.

There are five brushes inside and they are very soft with full brush heads and festive deco'd handles .  This was my first look at mark brushes and I have to say I was impressed with the feel of these. They're very good .  You get two larger ones for face  and three smaller eye brushes. All the basics .

The clutch has elastic openings for each brush so really can't be used without them in it, but for storing them or keeping them handy in your bag, it makes a stylish look the beauty lover on your gift list should love.
