Chanel UV Essentiel

Leave it to Chanel to make the chicest and cutest UV protection . Their new UV Essentiel comes in the darling-est( real word or not, I like it) little bottle .

Perfect for popping in your travel bag, purse or vanity table .

You can see by the pics that it fits in your hand.

Jean Godfrey June said the same thing in the April issue of Lucky. She feels and I agree, because I am a prime example, that you might use sunscreen more often with something like this handy. It's working for me, and I can be spotty about sunscreen.

One reason I am is that so much of it is oily or heavy and I don't want to break out. Well UV Essentiel has mattifying agents. You need to shake it before using and then blend quickly. It's a thin, milky formula that dries to a powder soft finish very fast. It's undetectable on the face.

Now even though it is mattifying, it does have hydrogenated castor oil as one of the last ingredients. So it's not oil free, but it also isn't oily .

UV Essentiel is SPF 30 and contains Licorice extracts to help fade dark spots. Vitamin E, mineral( UVA/UVB shielding) and plant(anti -pollution) extracts are in there as well.

$48.00 for 1.0 oz

It's available now at all  Chanel outlets.
