Chanel Spring 2009

A quick update post on the new Chanel Spring collection.

This has been getting a lot of press due to the beautiful new lip compact in the double Cs.

I saw some of the new items during my Christmas shoppping. The lip palette really is beautiful.

I have not yet seen the purple nail polish( and it sounds delish ), the new Brun blush which seems perfect for me or the new Aqualumieres, my favorite Chanel lippie finish.

The whole line was inspired by vintage Chanel bohemian dresses and is meant to evoke a bit of a gypsy look.

In the model close up, it has a very early 80's look, in a way. I love the dark eyes and mouth, but it isn't always easy to pull off, but I love the eye makeup on the model .
