Thakoon is the next designer to be in Lancôme's Pout-à-Porter project. Lancôme artistic director Gucci Westman will collaborate with Thakoon Panichgul on the lipstick color, which will make its debut on the runway on September 7 at his Spring 2008 fashion show during Fashion Week. All the models in the designer's show will wear the new shade.
The limited-edition lipstick, which has not been named yet nor priced, will be sold through an exclusive retailer in early 2008.
Lancôme has, in past seasons, collaborated with Behnaz Sarafpour and Proenza Schouler on limited-edition lipsticks, all of which have resulted in complete sell-throughs. This fall, Peter Som designed the beauty giant's newest Pout-à-Porter lipstick. Dubbed "P.S. Kiss by Peter Som," it goes on sale exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman, Nordstrom, and Lancôme boutiques nationwide on October 1.
